Relief Recreation Facilities Attendants (RFA 1)
The Oliver Parks and Recreation Society is seeking Relief Recreation Facilities Attendants (RFA 1) to add to our team.
The successful applicant/s will be involved in the operation and maintenance of the Oliver arena and ice surface through to mid-March. Shifts will be on a casual, as needed basis (weekdays, weekends and evenings).
Candidates must possess a BC Basic Safety Awareness certificate, a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and a minimum of three years’ experience working in arena facilities. Ice Facility Operator (IFO) and/or Refrigeration Operator (RO) certificate are preferred. WHMIS training and First Aid certification would be an asset.
Working respectfully with the public and efficiently under minimal supervision are important aspects of this position.
This is a CUPE union position with a starting wage of $24.94 per hour plus 6% in lieu of benefits during the probation period and 14% in lieu of benefits upon completion of the probation period.
