Yoga is a well developed and excellent technique to increase body awareness, increase energy levels and whole body health. A good Yoga workout will improve muscle strength in the entire body which will compliment activities such as skiing, hockey, curling or pole walking. Emphasis is on building strong core muscles through the back and abdomen. Regular workouts also improve cardio fitness and bone density. Learn techniques to help you relax and deal with others. Learn to feel good in your own body!

Yoga Fitness Mixed Levels

Want to get fit and enjoy optimal health? Experience the benefits of Yoga: better
muscle strength, improved flexibility and stamina, stronger bones and increased
cardiovascular health. Improve your golf game and prevent injuries. Stronger abdominals make a stronger back. Learn to breathe and relax at this mixed level class. Your instructor is Judy Nicholas.

An Ashtanga-style class for strength and endurance, we warm up with Sun Salutations, move through dynamic flow sequences, challenge poses and end with a blissful savasana! Previous yoga experience recommended but not required. Your instructor is Hayley Stopa.

Buddhi Yoga

16 years & up

Buddhi Yoga is action with consciousness. Great to free the spine by working out the upper, middle, lower back and opening the hips, learning the rhythm of breathing and the process of stretching and alignment into the postures or asanas, achieving concentration, patience and serenity.
